Cabinet Neo-Renaissance circa 1860-1880 ; France.Carved Walnut and marble inlay. Panels with mythological figures symbolising Fortune, Wisdom and Prosperity. The broken pediment shows in the centre a fully sculpted female figure symbolising Lecture, or Reading she holds a book in her hand. Guirlands of leaves, flowers and fruits are carried by carved birds. Female heads also hold guirlands. Four doors and one drawer.
Very nice quality and good condition. Key is there.
